I Am Life

written: December 31, 2025

I am sunlight’s kiss upon my skin
I am the grass soft beneath my feet
I carry the hum of the earth in my chest
the rivers and leaves moving with me

I am the flowers blooming on my skin
I am the vines twisting through my bones
I am the earth moving within me
I am the rivers, the wind, the earth flowing through me

I am warmth bending the wildflowers toward me
I am the song of the air around me
I am the wind whispering my name

I am the trees breathing through my arms
I am the sky stretching through my spine
I am the soil cradling the weight of me
without asking, without needing

I move with the seasons
I reach for sunlight in spring, stretch toward the sky in summer
I let go of what weighs me down in autumn
I rest in winter, quiet and full
I am never the same, and in that, I am wholly beautiful

I feel the earth breathe beneath my hands
shadows leaning long across the day
I grow with the wind, with the rain
the pulse of life moving through me

I am life, and that is enough.
